Day 2: Orientation

Hellos,

It's 2nd Day of School.
Today went to the Auditorium again to listen some talks. After that, we've to go to the classroom cause like teacher want to brief us on other stuff. Teacher asked: If my uniform was correct type, i replied: Yeah, cause i bought it from the shop here. Probably their new design or something.

Bang Ping, Zhi Hao & Myself had lunch at Tampines block 802 Coffee shop, opposite the Police Station. It was a short walking distance as the place was introduced to us by Bang Ping. After lunch, we were suppose to go back for Team-Building Games.

When we arrived to school, the bridge leaders told us we can go home if we want to. He said no point playing if all also very sian or not interested. He marked our attendance and let us leave while the other classes had to play it. Lols, Good news is we are released early and the Bad news is I don't know how our class bonding gonna be like since we didn't play those games to know each other more.

Stuff you might want to take note:

Form Teachers in ITE are called "Class Advisor (CA)"
Bridge Leaders are the people like organise those event for Orientation.

Day 1: Introduction to School?

Yesterday was the first day of Orientation, those usual stuff you play to make new friends. At first when i entered the Auditorium, thinking i will be the only Simei Student but few minutes later i managed to spot Bang Ping sitting alone. I happily changed my seat to sit beside him. He told me that Zhi Hao is also in the same course but different class as us.

I was Surprise and Pleased as there was someone i know in the same class as me. The Introduction Slides began, talking about everything they wants you to know. There were quite many presenters, ranging from Teachers to Students.

This random picture was taken while waiting for the classroom to be opened. My friends & I felt reckless cause of the environment we will be studying in, it's like a "RUN-DOWN" place. I'm so spoilt by the previous school of strong air-conditioned rooms everywhere. It's so bad till the extend that if you want to join a CCA, you might need to go other campus for it. I was like, you gotta be kidding me! My Previous school has like almost anything u mention. I know the more i compare the more i hate it. So I'm gonna try to change my point of view so i can study well.

Anyway, we were dismissed around 3.30pm after settling some general information stuffs. I decided to walk from school to Tampines Interchange due to Adult Fare expenses.

Hmm...Actually I've nothing much to blog about, just want to post some random shots from yesterday's CT practice. The shots looks nice so i decided to post them. These shots were taken quick & secretly cause we didn't have the money to buy sunglasses. LOLS! (:

Yesterday, after service the youths were so hype with worship, that we had our own youth songs and practically jump to burn the fats out or even "Tao-Pok-ing" people around. Songs after songs, we are still so energetic till the parents wants us to stop.

I'm really glad Derek could make it! (:

Tomorrow will be my First Day of school after like 4 months of holidays. I think there will be Orientation going on, making new cling of friends i presume. Phew! It's going to start at 9.30am, instead of the usual 8.00am.

Pray: I will put 100% in my work and hope 2 years pass as fast as a blink of an eye.

Meet up with Andrew

Hellos!

Andrew & I decided to meet up at College East as he needs to collect his portfolio. My purpose of going there was to try appealing to College East Campus instead of Tampines Campus. He accompanied me to the Administration Office to enquiry how to change school. I was given a form to filled-in and to pass the form to the current school for their approval. I really hope they grant me permission to transfer school.

After collecting his portfolio, we ate at Caferia 1. We eat and chat like for the last time we will be there. I was wondering why not i pass the form today since it's quite near the area. We wanted to take bus to Safra(Tampines) but due to Adult Fare expenses, we decided to walk all the way there. After passing them the form, i was able to leave as they will need the Section Head's Approval. We left the campus, and decided to walk to Tampines MRT Station as Andrew needs to go Bugis and meet his friends.

Oh yah, for those who doesn't know. I managed to rescue my computer but after couple of days, it died out on me. Here we go, spoilt computer again. =\

27th March '09, 2nd-take of BTT. I'm so happy cause i passed it, like FINALLY i did it! It's like sitting in the same exact classroom with exact test but just different seats thats all. Okay, I know, It's just a basic test but better than nothing right! As i was walking out, i was like a crazy boy smiling to myself. I even tried to control but just practically smile my way out of the centre.

While waiting for the bus, i saw Wen Han at the bus stop. I was shocked cause like why would a pool fanatic be interested in learning driving. We talked for awhile since his bus wasn't here yet. He said today was his first practical driving lesson and kept "Jam-Brake". I think it refers to stepping on Clutch and release to change gear or something.

It's great to see someone from College East with same CCA once again, surprising he is also waiting for Higher Nitec in Electronics too. I really hope he would be able to join me at Tampines ITE instead of Simei's cause i will be happier to know someone same course as me.

We were like given nicknames like Bro's because we both played pool. Talking about pool, i'm going to miss the school's pool tables, friends and even the tournament. Only if i can go back there to study and play pool daily and taking up pool as CCA.

So anyway, I treat myself by packet back home Macdonald's from Hougang Mall.

Confusion with Army or Higher Nitec

Today went out and played pool with Swee Yang. We played a total of 18 racks, 17 racks of 8-Ball & 1 rack of 9-Ball. It was a close fight but eventually i won. Hua Jin later called and ask if i would like to meet Desmond & Him for dinner. Hua Jin & I met up first as Desmond was busy, we walked around Hougang Mall & decided to eat Gelare's Waffle Ice-cream. I went to draw money from the ATM since it's like my first time really eating such heavenly delights food.

Anyway he asked: Why would i want to take Higher Nitec instead of Army? He said: I should finished Army and then go back to Higher Nitec then go Polytechnic.

This is because the scenario is like this:

If I'm taking Higher Nitec Course(2 yrs), once i graduated i must enlisted into Army before going for Polytechnic.

So Why not?

Go Army now, come out study Higher Nitec(2 yrs) and straight to Polytechnic?

So this thought began to pop up tons of question in my mind. I went online at my msn and seek advices from people around my age group or older i suppose. Basically there are both Pros & Cons of it, so there are quite alot of thinking to do. I know I'm suppose to seek the Lord after all, I'm going to do that afterwards! Amen!

I've gotta get an answer by end of the month, if i want to get into Higher Nitec as i need to pay my school fees.

So see ya another time for the final decision i suppose. (:

I went to ITE Tampines

Today, Monday!

I had my lunch and watched MythBusters S2 before going to Tampines ITE. Okay, there was a part where Jamie(from MythBusters) made this RC Remote, Nike Shoe move. My Bro asked: That's what you want to do right? I replied: Yeah! I thought to myself, Cool Right!? But how am i suppose to earn a living with those? Keep making them? Coming out Television Series like them?

I went down by myself to make amendments to my choice of Course & School. I wanted to change my course from "Mechatronics Engineering" to "Electronics Engineering" & "ITE Tampines" to "ITE Simei". I finally managed to change my course but not for the school, as Simei's slot are all taken up. What can i say? Only to blame myself for not applying the 1st Batch of it. So i should be studying in ITE Tampines taking "Electronic Engineering" for another 2 years.

Say Bye Bye to Army for now, and back to Schooling!

I know, i should be glad that I'm able to get into Higher Nitec. But i just keep having tons of thoughts comparison between me & Polytechnic students, I'm so far apart from them. On the brighter note, it's my chance of making new friends and impacting their Life. Partially, for me to grow Spiritually, Mentally & Emotionally. I really pray to excel this 2 years and finish it well.

Well, 2 years seems to be fast when it's over. But when it just start, quite a journey ahead.
