A wasted trip to Macpherson Campus

I packed my PE clothes for rock-climbing at Macpherson Campus. I want to try their wall as it will be my first experience to climb there. I went there early as my class has ended. I took bus no. 65 to Macpherson and arrived at around 4.15pm. There was only a stall left open and it's a western stall.

I ordered Fish & Chip as it's the cheapest meal of all, it cost only $2.70. I asked the stall fellow is it possible to change the coleslaw for rice? He told me only can change fries for rice. I told him nevermind about it then. When he was about to serve me, he added some fried rice at no charges at all! I was like delighted as it's a blessing from God. Some of you might say he doesn't want to throw away the waste food.

I walked around the campus till about 5pm and i decided to leave as there were no souls around the rock-climbing area at all. I supposed it's gonna be school holidays that's why they kinda stopped the cca or something.

By the way, today my friends and i played bowling at Safra Tampines. Bang Ping & I did a strike on the very first throw. At the 10th/last set, i did a DOUBLE-STRIKE, 2/3 shots. It was close to a Turkey until my 3rd Ball went to the drain. It's like ultra-cool man, to be able strike 2 times in a row at the very last set. We played 2 games and it cost about $5.70 or so, that explains why i didn't had enough money to eat at Macpherson. ):

Great effort though, Ezra.
Keep it up, Practice more, Okay!
Bye! Tomorrow, my class will be having Industrial visit to Yokogawa Company.

W.W.W

Yes! It's W.W.W and I'm not referring to any website links but only "Where Wolly Worz" !
It's was a 3-day event of games to spice up the June holiday mood. It's from 5th - 7th of June, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Friday - East Coast Park

I came late as i was celebrating Zhi Xiang's 22th Birthday. Slight track alittle, we ate Ajisen Ramen at Tampines Mall to celebrate his birthday and cut cakes and stuff.

Getting back on track....When i arrived they were playing some ice-breaker game or something, then Derek asked: "Who knows what does W.W.W stands for?" I shouted "Where Wolly Worz!!"(in a unique tone.)

My group Facilitator is no other than my Life Group Leader, Estee.
The group consist of: Genevieve, Gideon, Joel Ng, Jolene, Yong Hui & myself.

First Task: To Bury the tallest person in our group.

We obviously had the tallest among all, G-I-D-E-O-N ! (:
But it wasn't a factor to us, we dug and designed him with "Men Chest Muscle + Big Stomach". Our presenter said: "It's a muscular man about to give birth."

Second Task: To suck out a pail of sea-water with a straw.

This is interesting, but we still did it! We took turns to suck out, Boys turn than Girls turn. Despite of 2 ulcers in Joel's mouth, he still suck like nothing happens. (: I appreciate his bravery for the team. It was like 1/3 of the pail, those pails your parents use to soak the clothes.

Third Task: To start a fire to burn a Twine & Plastic String with only a box of matchsticks.

Immediately, i was like, We are going to win this for sure.
It's like 3 different uniform groups in my group, so what you think?
Joel - Scout, Jolene - Girls Guide, Ezra - NPCC

Anyway, It's the techniques & instructions of Joel & Jolene that we managed to start the fire up and burn the twine! They stay there and build foundation for the fire while the rest of us went looking for dry twigs & leaf. Indeed, we won for that round. During debrief, we kind of stir the burnt stuff with sand and it forms into " Sand-Therapy". It's give great sensation as you put your leg in there, feels so warm.

Saturday - Fort Canning Park

You know what? I've been going Douby Ghaut so many times and i didn't know Fort Canning Park is located so near there. It's like behind of Park Mall only.

We had a total of 8 task to complete. Every task we've done, we must return to the checkpoint to exchange for other task. We kept motivating ourself to get the first place by having treat of Ben & Jerry's ice-cream. We clocked in as the 2nd team to arrive in the end but nevertheless, great team and joy we had!

Sunday - Sentosa

After church, we had our lunch hurriedly as we have to be ready to board the coach to Sentosa. We had to wait at the Sentosa Coach Terminal as the bus driver had to buy tickets for like 33 of us. As we were waiting, we saw a total of 7 Lamborghini drove past. I'm sure they came as a group, if not why out of the blue appears 7 cars one after another? Amanda said i was like super excited to see so many Lamborghini till the extend i might run down the coach to wave at them. LOL~! I'm happy because my cousin, Ashton, Clara & Jonathan(Their Neighbour) & Hamizan are able to come and join us. I hope they enjoyed their time over there.

Ice-Breaker: Burst an egg shell by burning with candles.

Our team decided to put all the candles at a corner to focus the flame into one spot. We waited for the shell to burst. You know what? Actually our shell burst long ago, and we kinda waited blindly and 2-3 teams left first. We wanted to the tram to the bus stop, unfortunately we missed the tram so our only route is to run all the way there. When we arrived at the bus-stop, the bus was filled with 3 teams on board and our team were unable to get in. We had to wait for the next bus which is like 6-minutes later and we are kinda have a Livewire Amazing Race.

First Task: Take 7 photos with Strangers making funny faces.

We went to find strangers to post funny faces and take with us. We managed to complete the task and hurry to our next destination.

Second Task: Find a Foreigner to sing their National Anthem.

We managed to find a US citizen to sing United State Of America's Anthem. Although we couldn't hear properly as the surrounding was noisy but we smiled along with him.

Third Task: Find 3 Foreign-change coins.

We needed to go Palawan Beach to start the task. We went round asking foreigners to spare us foreign currency coins. This task took us quite a long time, but finally we completed it.

Forth Task: Find W-O-L-L-Y ~!

This is the final task of the event. We had to use our clues to find Wolly, and to speak to him with a secret code, which is "How much is that doggy at the window?" We actually hasn't find him until Joy shouted out loud and everybody rushed to him. Our group & Joy's group crowd around him to take photo, to prove it's him. All the foreigners thought we crazy, cause literally everybody crowd around him.

Wolly is a army friend of Derek, no wonder only David, Justin & Himself seen him before only.
After the event, most of us played Captain's Ball by the beach. We had like the biggest captain ball team ever. Derek and Edison team together to throw Ray into the water. Derek wanted to throw Mark down too, but Mark asked David want to team to throw Derek down? He agreed and all of us gather to help to throw him in. LOL

Bye thats all
Enjoy reading! (:

Teacher back from US.

My Class Advisor(Form Teacher) is back from United State, and wasn't quarantine for a week as she said she doesn't have fever or any symptom of H1N1.

Rock-climbing session made me totally shag. Before climbing, we did Bouldering x5. We are able to try the climb the side-wall, it's difficult for me. I didn't even complete it, not to mention being stuck. This is because, as i climb half-way i knew my arms kinda tired already but i just went on climbing.

I lose my grip so like swing in mid-air, than the rope got hooked at one of the rocks. From climbing up, now need to set myself free from the rope. After setting myself free, i tried to climb up but literally no upper arm strength already. Anyway, my friend who went after me had the exact problem but he didn't managed to set himself free.

Tomorrow there will be a Class Test for Engineering Maths covering 3 topics. Algebra, Indices & Logarithm. Gotta Revise!

Bye!

Movies with some of the youth

We decided to watch "Night At The Museum 2" after church. We were suppose to catch it at 2.15pm slot at Plaza Singapura's Golden Village.

We decided to wait for Jethro & Ray as their meeting ends at 2.15pm. I mean waiting a little longer for 2 more people it's worth the time. By the time we arrived, there were only first rows of seats available for the 3.40pm slot. We asked for the 4.10pm slot instead since it's like 30mins later, anyway we sat on the 3rd row. It's indeed a mini-cinema, as i heard from the staff earlier on.

There were total of 8 of us. consisting of Edison, Edric, Jethro, Joy, Oliver, Ray, Yoges & Myself. We choose 6-seats and 2-seats. Joy & Yoges took the two seats, as for us we took the 6-seats. We had dinner at Long John Silver and went back home.

Ray's blessed because after watching the movie with us, his friend ask him to watch a movie with them too. Cool right? Imagine 2 movies in a day!

Okay. Bye!

Hua Jin & I Meet Ms. Goh

We actually wanted to have a mini gathering with Ms. Goh tomorrow. Apparently, Hua Jin & Ms. Goh had mis-communication. Hua Jin suggested to meet Ms. Goh straight after she left school, we waited at Hougang Mall's MacDonald for her. When she arrived, she suggested to eat at Pasta Mania for dinner because it's kinda boring to eat MacDonald's again.

Actually, both of us have already taken our dinner and just want to talk to her. She decided to treat us as it has been a long while since we contacted her. She treated Hua Jin & I a Ham-Mushroom Pizza. We talked about many things, from where are we studying till the income of a teacher.

After dinner, we walked around the mall and she decided to order some herbal tea at the Chinese shop. She ordered for me a bitter herbal tea for relieve heaty stuff in my body and herself some jelly-liked food, i tried and it's equally bitter to my tea.

We went back walking around again, can you picture a person who ran 2.4km in the morning and now walking round the mall in the evening?

P.S. Ms. Goh is my Secondary School Teacher and aka God-Ma, as claim cause we had a same surname.

Anyway, it's a great gathering today. (:

2.4km run

During PE lesson, we had our 2.4km run for Napha Test. We ran only 5 rounds round the field, because teacher claims that the diameter of the field is quite big. I kind of ate alittle more for the run, as i thought i will be superb hungry.

During the run, at roughly 3rd or 4th round. As usual i kept wiping away my perspiration, i realise one of my spectacle hook's went missing! For a split second, i was wondering should i continue my run or stop to find it? I decided to run first and find it after i completed it. Suddenly less then a 200m to the end, i felt like vomiting. I hurriedly stop and began to walk, as i walk nearer i decided to run since Manfred was infront of me.
In the end, i couldn't find my spectacle hook and i didn't vomit (:

After the run, one of my classmate asked 3 of my friends and myself to look for teacher to collect T-Shirt. I was like, complete the run will received free T-Shirt!? then i realise it's for only those person who pass all station for Napha Test will get it. Again, i was like? you mean i pass my 2.4km finally?

To conclude, It's worth the lost of my spectacle hooks. I'm happy to collect the T-Shirt.
Front of the T-Shirt: Logo of Napha Test
Back of the T-Shirt wrote: Certified: Physically Fit
It's like Woah~! Bye (:

Hillsong - The Stand

You stood before creation
Eternity within Your hand
You spoke the earth into motion
My soul now to stand

You stood before my failure
Carried the Cross for my shame
My sin weighed upon Your shoulders
My soul now to stand

So what can I say
What can I do
But offer this heart O God
Completely to You

So I'll walk upon salvation
Your Spirit alive in me
This life to declare Your promise
My soul now to stand

So what can I say
What can I do
But offer this heart O God
Completely to You

So I’ll stand
With arms high and heart abandoned
In awe of the One who gave it all

So I’ll stand
My soul Lord to You surrendered
All I am is Yours
